This is the first post in what will probably be a pretty short-lived blog, detailing the daily details of the LeJoG ride John Busby and I are doing this May. We start on Sunday May 6th from Land's End (LE) and end up -all being well - at John o'Groats (JoG) on Friday 18th May. 13 days.
How is it that there are people that can just sit down and start writing readable stuff on a blog? The truth is, I doubt I've got anything worthwhile to say, but hopefully, with sufficient material from the ride (hopefully not too eventful!) maybe some guest contributions from John and maybe Mary (John's wife and doing all of the driving!) and only 13 days to sustain it, we may be able to produce something readable.
If that doesn't work, we'll just resort to filling it with as many photos as we can take. Oh, here's another roadsign pointing north! and here's a nice sunset! (we should be so lucky).
So first entry done, I might get better at doing this. but I wouldn't bank on it.
